First, if you are looking for a book, make sure you read the fine print because this is not really a book; it is a manual that is longer than it needs to be. This is essentially a stretched out advertising pamphlet for the author's AAT system which appears to start of by explaining how to use your body to trick your mind.
While the strategy presented is a good one, this is just part of a marketing attempt to get you to go to the author's website to purchase online education packages which explore other tips such as tapping which I'm assuming is a version of EFT--much of what is free on the internet these days. Now, put these body parts into the opposite position.
Practice that opposite position throughout the day to condition your brain and trick it into feeling calm, relaxed, and pain-free. I feel like I was the sucker born the minute I bought this one. Oh well, lesson learned. The author would be better off selling this promotional material for.
Hope you all find the relief you are looking for - this strategy may or may not give it to you. There are definitely more comprehensive books out there on the market to assist with pain and anxiety management. I have seen Scott treat an elderly man, all hunched over at the waist when he walked. He could not straighten up. He reported that he had suffered from back pain since , when he tried to load a tree onto a flatbed trailer all by himself.
He said he had been to every kind of Doctor imaginable, with no relief. Scott did what I consider to be "his magical treatment" on the man for just a few minutes. The man got up off the table and hesitatingly straightened up to his full height, with a look of surprise on his face. He exclaimed," It's gone.
It's all gone. There is no pain. I asked" You mean you have no pain at all? He got up and started walking in his hunched over position.
Then, with a smile on his face, straightened up, saying "I don't have to do that anymore" and walked away standing straight and tall. I understand that not everyone is going to have such dramatic results, but for those with pain issues - and that means both mental or physical pain, this therapist has a treatment that is hard to believe. One person found this helpful. The stress response is described and a method is given to both handle both stress and pain. The author shares his story and describes how he discovered his method.
The wiring of the nervous system and the associated neural pathways developed in response to a variety of situations is discussed. The book details how the body can get stuck in a pain pathway. Will it help me? I know you will be thrilled with your results. You see, I feel a responsibility to share with the world this wonderful tool that I stumbled onto.

I downloaded this for free so can't complain but there was nothing of value in this book for me. Most of the text is a build up to the 'answer' of the problem of stress and anxiety. Most of the content is nothing more than common sense and could be found with a quick Internet search. If you have never tried anti-anxiety techniques before then give this a go. I think more helpful are the websites and forums on these topics.
